How to Get Started as a Parent

Start here · ~3 minutes to get set up
1
The Welcome tab is your checklist
It is the first thing in your parent portal, and it is five steps. Each one ticks itself off as you do it, and the bar at the top says how far along you are. Tap a step and it takes you straight to the screen that does it.
The Welcome tab is your checklist
2
1 — Link your players
Add each athlete to your account. Nothing else works until this is done, because everything after it — signing, booking, credits — belongs to a named athlete rather than to you.
3
2 — Sign the waiver and agreement
One signature per athlete, by name, so a family with two hitters is asked twice. The portal asks for it on its own as soon as there is an athlete on the account. If you have not added anyone yet this step says so and sends you back to step 1 rather than sitting there greyed out.
4
3 — Add a card on file
Nothing is charged to book a session. The card is there for late-cancellation fees, the store, and anything you choose to pay for later. It is held by Stripe and never stored by us. This one is required — sessions cannot be booked without it.
5
4 — Visit the facility
A quick look in person before you get going. Nobody checks this one; once it is booked or done, tap Mark as done yourself.
6
5 — Take the quick tour
Sixty seconds, on this screen, no going anywhere. It opens up a short list of what each tab is for.
7
Then tell Marcus you are set
Once the first four are done, a button appears that sends him your name and your athletes in one press. It is the only way he knows a family is up and running, so it is worth the tap. It does not come back afterwards.
8
Booking and memberships are deliberately not on this list
Marcus loads credits himself for most families, so the checklist does not send you to a store to buy what you may already have. If you need sessions and are not sure where you stand, send a message rather than buying.
9
If you would rather read it all in one place
Open the full setup guide at the bottom of the Welcome tab is the long version — the same thing Marcus emails out. And Hide this puts the checklist away once you are done with it.
