How to Join Academy Prep

Open the Academy Prep page

Go to portal.thehittingmd.com/academy-prep.html. Academy Prep is small-group hitting for ages 8–13 — one session a week, six hitters in a group, Fridays 4–8 PM. It is sold in ten-week blocks, not as a monthly membership, so there is nothing to cancel later.

Academy Prep only runs when at least eight hitters are enrolled. If fewer sign up it does not run that period, and nobody is charged.

Choose how far ahead you want to go

Four options, one block to all four. The further ahead you commit, the cheaper each session gets, and all four includes a Blast Motion sensor. Tap one — the time slots open underneath as soon as you do.

A promotional rate may be running. The page always shows today’s price, so what you see is what you pay.

Pick a time for each block

Each block gets one standing time — the same hour every week for those ten weeks. Every date is listed above the times, holidays included, so you know exactly which Fridays you are signing up for.

Block 4 has two halves — pick a time for each

The first six sessions of block 4 are Fridays through the end of May. The last four move to Monday mornings (June 7, 14, 21 and 28) once the season is under way. Choose a Friday time and a Monday time.

Only there if you chose all four blocks. Blocks 1 to 3 are Fridays the whole way.

Fill in your details and hold the spot

Name, age, an email and a phone number. The email is the one your portal account gets set up on. Your total is shown above the button. Nothing is charged here — this holds the place.

You are done — Marcus takes it from there

You get your times back on screen straight away. Marcus confirms the spot and takes payment by Venmo or card; it does not go through the portal, and there is no automatic renewal. Anything beyond block 1 is paid in full by November 15.
