How to Read Your Monthly Progress Snapshot

The Hitting MD · ~30 sec · Parents

It arrives on the 1st — you do not ask for it
On the first of each month the portal writes up the month just gone, for every athlete you have linked, and sends you a notification saying it is ready. Open My Players and scroll down to Progress to read it.

2
The big red number is sessions in the cage
That is how many sessions your hitter trained last month. A no-show or a late cancellation is not counted in it, so the number is sessions they had, not hours that were held. One card per athlete, so a family with two hitters gets two.
3
The pills next to it are what they turned in
Game reports, check-ins, journal entries, extra work logged at home, Batter’s Eye videos and rest days — each with its count. Anything that was zero is left off rather than shown as a nought, so a short row is a quiet month, not a fault.
4
The gold line is what the coaching is on
One or two sentences about the skill being worked on, written from Marcus’s own session notes for that month. It deliberately carries no grades, no scores and no comparison to anybody else — if there was nothing coachable in the notes, the line is left out instead of padded.
5
If there is nothing there
A month with no sessions, nothing turned in and no notes produces no snapshot at all, and the card says your first one arrives on the 1st. A hitter who has just started will see that until their first full month is behind them.
6
It shows the latest month, not a history
Each athlete’s card is the most recent month only — there is no back-scroll here. Every month is kept, so if you want an earlier one, ask and Marcus can pull it up.
