How to Book for a Child

The Hitting MD · ~1 min
1
First, a card on file
A card has to be saved on your account before a session can be booked, for any of your athletes. Nothing is charged to book — the card covers a late-cancellation fee, and is there if you ever want a membership charged instead of billed. Add it under Payments — the Payment method block, then Add A Payment Method. It opens Stripe’s secure page and brings you straight back, and your card details are held by Stripe rather than by us. Without one, tapping Book says so instead of taking the hour.
2
Open the Schedule tab
Sign in to your parent account and open the Schedule tab.
3
Pick the athlete, then load their schedule
Choose which of your athletes you’re booking for and tap Load Schedule. A coloured dot and Scheduling for [name] appears underneath so there’s no doubt whose schedule you’re looking at — worth a glance if you have more than one hitter. Then pick an open time and tap Book. That athlete’s credits apply.
4
Done
The session lands on that athlete’s schedule with their name on it, and it shows in their own portal too.
5
Changing it or dropping it
There is no same-day deadline — you can change or cancel right up until the session starts. What it costs depends on how close you are:

To move it: tap Change Session and pick another time that same day. The credit moves with the session, and no fee applies. The new time has to be more than 2 hours away.

To drop it: tap Cancel. More than 2 hours before the session it’s free and the credit comes straight back. Inside 2 hours it’s a late cancellation, and you choose: keep the credit and a $20 late-cancellation fee applies, or give the credit up and pay nothing. On an unlimited membership there’s no credit to keep, so a late cancellation is simply the $20 fee. Once the session has started it can’t be canceled.
