Academy High School is our high school membership — year-round instruction, multiple days a week, for hitters who are serious about developing. It’s built around high school because that’s where the work compounds: the same eyes on your swing season after season, data that goes back years, and adjustments that build on each other instead of starting over every spring.
Academy Prep is the first rung on the ladder, for hitters aged 10 to 12 — groups of no more than three, Monday to Thursday afternoons, 2:30–6:30 PM. It is one calendar: those afternoon hours take both Prep and Academy hitters, and the evening hours after 6:30 are for 13 and up. A hitter moves up into Academy at 13 and can then book any hour on it — Prep runs to 12 and Academy starts at 13, so the two meet without overlapping. A birthday on its own moves nobody: which tier a hitter is in is Marcus’s call with you. Every member gets Blast Motion, and sessions are booked week by week on the schedule like every other tier. The Academy Prep page has the hours and the prices. You join through the in-person application, the same form every in-cage membership uses — there is no card step on it. Once Marcus has reviewed it he sets your hitter up, and you pick your plan and pay for it yourself on the Account tab in your portal.
Some middle schoolers are ready — the maturity, the focus, the willingness to work between sessions. When we see it, we open the Academy to them early. It isn’t automatic and it isn’t about age. It’s a judgment we make hitter by hitter.
Every Academy Plus member came up through the Academy and is now playing college ball. They stay connected — at-home work through the school year, in the cage when they’re home on break. It isn’t a tier you buy into. It’s what the Academy leads to.
